Accordingly, in An Giang province, updates from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of this province show that the price of Dai Thom 8 rice remains around 9,400 – 9,700 VND/kg; OM 5451 rice is stable at 9,400 – 9,500 VND/kg; OM 18 rice at 9,500 – 9,700 VND/kg; Nang Hoa 9 rice price is at 9,200 – 9,400 VND/kg; IR 504 rice remains stable at 8,800 – 9,000 VND/kg; OM 380 rice fluctuates around 8,600 – 8,800 VND/kg.

Similarly, dried An Giang sticky rice is stable around 9,400 – 9,800 VND/kg; Dry Long An sticky rice is priced at 9,400 – 9,800 VND/kg.

For all types of rice today, prices remain stable. Accordingly, at the export warehouse in Sa Dec (Dong Thap), the price of IR 504 Vietnamese raw rice remains around 12,800 – 12,900 VND/kg; Taiwanese raw rice 8, OM 18 at 13,800 – 13,850 VND/kg; OM 380 raw rice is stable at 12,650 – 12,750 VND/kg; OM 5451 rice costs 13,400 – 13,450 VND/kg; Raw Soc rice ranges from 12,000 – 12,100 VND/kg.

There are no changes in by-products today. Currently, the price of OM 5451 plate remains at 11,700-11,800 VND/kg and dry bran is stable around 6,600-6,700 VND/kg.

Noting that the rice market in the Mekong Delta region today, the remaining source of Autumn-Winter rice is small and difficult to buy. Most of the rice area has been staked in advance. Rice prices of all kinds are at a high level. In the past week, the prices of many types of rice increased sharply to 300 VND/kg such as Dai Thom 8, OM 18, OM 5451 rice.

In the rice market, today the source of raw rice is limited. At the market rice channel, the demand for buying goods to serve Tet is high. Over the past week, rice prices fluctuated slightly, many warehouses accepted to pay high prices to buy rice.

At retail markets, today the price of Soc rice is usually at 19,000 VND/kg; Nang Hoa 9 rice at 19,500 VND/kg; Nang Nhen rice fluctuates around 26,000 VND/kg; Jasmine rice is stable at 16,000 – 18,500 VND/kg; Regular rice is usually priced at 12,000 – 14,000 VND/kg; Common white rice 16,000 VND/kg; long-grain fragrant rice 18,000 – 20,000 VND/kg; Huong Lai rice 19,500 VND/kg; Squirrel rice usually costs 16,000 – 17,000 VND/kg; Thai squirrel rice 18,500 VND/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice 21,000 VND/kg; Japanese rice 22,000 VND/kg.

In the export market, Vietnam’s export rice price decreased by 5 USD/ton. Accordingly, the export price of 5% broken rice is at 658 USD/ton and the price of 25% broken rice fluctuates around 643 USD/ton.

In the Asian rice market, rice prices in many countries tend to decrease after increasing continuously last week. Domestic rice prices are stable. Rice prices have little change compared to last week.
